Quick answer
Choose December Cardinals if you want a bird-themed table centerpiece with a glowing water globe and a calm, winter-wonderland mood. Choose Country Jewel if you prefer a rustic holiday centerpiece built from fresh greens, pinecones, and plaid bows with a red LED pillar candle at its center.
The mood each centerpiece sets
December Cardinals leans on the symbolism of cardinals as signs of hope, joy, and love, with a pair perched inside a red water globe while snow swirls around them. That makes it a quiet, reflective piece rather than a busy one.
Country Jewel is the opposite energy: homespun and festive, with real pinecones, red ball ornaments, red berries, and country plaid bows. It reads as cozy and traditional rather than serene.
Lighting and focal point
The red LED pillar candle in Country Jewel is the visual anchor, so the arrangement is built around a warm, upright glow. December Cardinals puts the light inside the water globe, which draws the eye to the cardinals and falling snow instead of a candle.
Both products list a Lights option, so confirm the exact lighting configuration on each product page before you order if you are matching an existing table scheme.
Fresh greens and construction
Both arrangements are handcrafted with fresh noble fir, cedar, and pine, so they share the same natural base and require similar care. The difference is what sits on top: Country Jewel adds pinecones and plaid bows, while December Cardinals adds a water globe.
A water globe is a fixed decorative element, so plan around its footprint when you set the table. The plaid bows on Country Jewel are softer and may need a light fluffing after shipping.
Trade-offs to weigh before you choose
- Style: rustic vs serene: Country Jewel delivers homespun elegance with plaid bows, pinecones, and berries. December Cardinals delivers a winter-wonderland feel with cardinals and falling snow. If your table already has plaid or berry accents, Country Jewel repeats that theme; December Cardinals contrasts it.
- Focal point: candle vs globe: Country Jewel centers on a red LED pillar candle. December Cardinals centers on a water globe with cardinals inside. A candle centerpiece is easier to coordinate with other candles on the table; a globe centerpiece stands alone.
- Care and handling: Both use fresh noble fir, cedar, and pine, so both need the same basic fresh-greens care. The water globe on December Cardinals is a fixed element, while Country Jewel's bows can be adjusted. If you want to reshape the arrangement as you style it, Country Jewel gives you more flexibility.
